3 Best Ways to Whiten Your Teeth


Okay, I admit it. I may be a bit obsessed with whitening my teeth. Since white teeth are the cheapest, but the prettiest thing I can wear, I want my smile to be as bright as possible. I love to try simple ways to whiten my teeth at home, like I used to brush my teeth with baking soda, with continuous use, it did work. If you want whiten your teeth like me, here are a few simple ways to help you get a lovely smile.


1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda + 2 Teaspoons of Water

Whitening Teeth with baking soda is known to be one of the easiest and most convenient teeth whitening home remedies. Some people say it’s better to add some lemon juice in it, but too much lemon juice can actually ruin your enamel because of the acid. So you can try brushing your teeth with a mixture containing 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of water. Three times a week is enough. Remember you should brush your teeth with regular toothpaste daily, baking soda is useful but can’t simply replace the regular toothpaste.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Using Apple Cider Vinegar is also popular for teeth whitening. It can not only prevent tooth decay, but help your teeth retain their natural white. Apple cider vinegar is highly acidic and will hurt your tooth enamel, so you should dilute apple cider vinegar with water. Add half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a cup of water and gargle in the morning. Be sure to brush as usual after you gargle.

LED Tooth Whitening Kits

If you want a more efficient way to whiten your teeth, you can consider investing a teeth whitening kit. It’s more professional, more useful, but of course, more expensive, many at-home LED teeth whitening kits can be bought for under $100. LED tooth whitening kits usually include LED light and tooth-whitening agent, the light acts as a catalyst to speed up the whitening process and it won’t change the color of your teeth if used alone.
